industrial revolution!

We are learning about immigration! How wonderful, opening up the unit with monopoly. The one game I am bad at. If you know me, I am not to be trusted with money. Even fake money. Anyways, it opens up, and we learn about push and pull factors for immigration. More will be posted... but I must go now.

the old days

During a conference. There are many things to talk about. One of them are how teachers used to beat their children with rulers. How wonderful. I don't believe teachers can do that anymore. That's illegal. And child abuse. Ahhh the old days... I would have no idea how that was like. Was it better? Maybe. Our teacher believes so... hopefully they won't legalize child abuse. So for now, we are protected from rulers and slapping. Not from detention and suspension, but you should be smart enough not to attempt something that would lead to that.
